Evaluation of Knowledge Gain through Training Programmes on Scientific Pig Farming

The present study was conducted with an objective of assessing the knowledge gained by trainees about various aspects scientific pig farming organised Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Lakhimpur. A total 180 numbers participated in trainings on over a period during 2019 and 2020 random selection. data were collected pre post completion training help questionnaire which distributed to before training. consisted 13 different Indian exotic Pig Breeds, selection piglets, castration age attainment puberty pigs, oestrus sow, heat detection gilt, gestation care young deworming marketing feeding lactating Vaccination pigs common diseases pigs.
 score one zero assigned for each correct incorrect response, respectively analysis gain. It found that majority youths (52.22%), followed Middle aged (32.22%) Old (15.55%).Majority from ST category (33.88%) OBC (32.77%), General (21.11%) SC (12.22%). Among those who attended 32.22% had education till middle school level primary 22.77, 16.11 % illiterate whereas 15% completed secondary, 10.55% higher secondary 3.33 upto graduate level.
 overall evaluation be 19.17% ended up high note 93.15% evaluation, is indicative positive impact gain.
 Evaluation gain showed maximum vaccination (88.89%, Rank I) minimum sow (54.44%, XIII).
